Corgi 405 Bedford 'Utilicon' Fire Tender

Manufactured 1956-1959

An unusual and harder to find example of this early Corgi. These were originally made as 405m with friction motor but in 1959 the motor was discontinued so the last few remaining body shells were fitted to non mechanical bases used in green A.V.F. version. Whilst not a listed model it is legitimate factory produced hybrid. Original red paintwork is very good with some small chips and light wear, please study the high resolution photos for exact condition. Perfect original tyres on smooth hubs, good windows and detachable ladder, perfect tin baseplate.
